Applications are now being accepted for two short term Skill Development courses in Life Sciences.

Genome Foundation is offering two short term Skill Development courses in Life Sciences aimed at enhancing the professional knowledge and applications in :
a) Molecular Genetics
b) Cytogenetics and Clinical Practice

These two internship programs are aimed at providing professional knowledge and training on principles and applications of various molecular and cytogenetics techniques which are increasingly being used in research, diagnosis and pharmacogenomics. The courses are well suited for post graduates and doctorates (Ph.D) in life sciences, graduates and post graduates in Engineering with Biotechnology specialization, medical graduates with M.B.B.S degree and having a career planning in research, genetic counselling etc., both in biotechnology industries and pharma hubs, fast coming up all over the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students with a background in M.Sc/Ph.D (Life Sciences), B.Tech / M.Tech (Biotechnology) or M.B.B.S are eligible to apply.
  • Admissions will be based on academic credentials, aptitude and professional interest..

Note :

  • Boarding/ Lodging : Candidates should make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging. Genome Foundation is situated in Osmania University Campus in the vicinity of the reputed National Laboratories like NIN, CCMB, CDFD, IICT, etc., and the surrounding areas are very conducive for the stay of students with safe and affordable accommodation with food, transport etc.,.
  • Academic Rules/Regulations : Students should attend 90% of classes which is mandatory for course completion. Those who discontinue the program before completion for whatever reasons are not entitled for refund of fees. Managing Director, Genome Foundation reserves the right to terminate the training of any candidate on the grounds of indiscipline, misconduct or unacceptable behaviour during the course period.

About Accommodation

  • All the selected candidates are required to find their own accommodation and self-finance their stay. Staff of the Genome Foundation will certainly assist the students in finding a suitable accommodation if it is needed.
